September 17 – Serie A champions Inter Milan’s owners have had a number of ‘wake up and smell the coffee’ moments financially in the last six months. Now they have a new brand of coffee to help them over those moments.
Inter have signed a new two-season partnership with Pop Caffè, who will become the club’s Official Coffee Partner. No value was given for the deal.
Pop Caffè specialises in coffee for pods and capsules with the Myspresso brand. The company will have a package of marketing exposure around the club’s assets including pitchside brand visibility during Serie A and Coppa Italia matches at the San Siro.
It will have product placement in various club locations including the hospitality rooms, as well as the opportunity to produce and sell products linking the Pop Caffè logo to Inter branding.
Andrea Eterno, CEO of the Sim-Fed Srl group which owns the Pop Caffè brand, said: “Our aim is to keeping growing and establishing ourselves in our field, just as Inter have done on the football field. We are a young, ambitious team. We are Pop and we want to become top like Inter.”
