English FA unveils venues for 2021 Women’s Euros

August 19 – European clubs have re-iterated their opposition to the current format of the Champions League but have welcomed UEFA’s decision to postpone a summit meeting between all stakeholders that had been scheduled for September 11.

August 16 – A crucial meeting next month between the main stakeholders aimed at reaching agreement to overhaul the Champions League from 2024 has been postponed by UEFA.

August 12 – The bitter dispute between La Liga and the Spanish FA (RFEF) over which days are eligible for league matches has been resolved with a judge ruling that Fridays are fine but imposing a blanket ban on games being played on Monday nights.
