AC Milan gets card sharp with Repx licensing deal

June 16 – Serie A’s AC Milan have signed a new licensing partnership with UK fintech company Repx, which will see the launch of a new debit card on the Repx platform.

The card will give holders the opportunity to access news and club offers (from tickets to merchandise) as well as invitations to special events.

Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan chief revenue officer said: “We are delighted to welcome on board REPX. This collaboration will provide us with an important virtual fan engagement tool that will allow us to offer our fans exclusive experiences.”

The Repx platform allows sports stars, sports clubs, and brands to have their personalized card, which combines with an App to connect followers in innovative ways. The platform is designed to offer more than just another payment method but as an engagement tool for fans that offers opportunities and rewards.

Alfredo Villa, Managing Director at REPX commented: “We are excited to start this licensing partnership with AC Milan, an incredibly successful club both in Italy and globally for their impressive palmarés and the ‘granitic faith’ of the Rossoneri fans.”
