Nissan refuels CFG sponsorship extension with Guardiola-driven content campaign

November 4 – City Football Group has extended its global partnership with  Nissan into a  third term in a deal that coversManchester City, Melbourne City, New York City FC, Girona FC and Sichuan Jiuniu FC.

The Japanese car maker was City Football Group’s first multi-club partner, first signing in 2014. No value was given for the sponsorship.

To mark the renewal Nissan and Manchester City have also released a content campaign titled ‘Electrify the City’ and featuring Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola alongside Nissan’s Formula E racing driver Sebastien Buemi.
