June 4 – Concacaf has released schedules for the 2026 editions of the Central American Cup and Caribbean Cup with games to start at the end of July and both competitions to end in December.
The 20-team Central America Cup will qualify six clubs to the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, while the 10-team Caribbean Cup will qualify three.
Both competitions will start with a group stage with the four Central American Cup groups qualifying eight teams for the knockout rounds. The Caribbean Cup’s two groups will qualify four teams for the semi-final stage.
Central American Cup draw and dates:
The official draw for the 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup took place on May 26. During the live made-for-TV event, the 20 participating clubs were divided into four groups of five as follows:
Group A
- LD Alajuelense (CRC), CD Plaza Amador (PAN), Club Xelajú (GUA), CD Luis Ángel Firpo (SLV), Diriangén FC (NCA)
Group B
- CS Herediano (CRC), Antigua GFC (GUA), CD Marathón (HON), Real Estelí FC (NCA), Alianza FC (SLV)
Group C
- Club Olimpia Deportivo (HON), Deportivo Saprissa (CRC), Deportivo Mixco (GUA), Alianza FC (PAN), UMECIT FC (PAN)
Group D
- CSD Municipal (GUA), FC Motagua (HON), CS Cartaginés (CRC), Club Deportivo FAS (SLV), Verdes FC (BLZ)

- Group Stage Week 1: July 28–30, 2026
- Group Stage Week 2: August 4–6, 2026
- Group Stage Week 3: August 11–13, 2026
- Group Stage Week 4: August 18–20, 2026
- Group Stage Week 5: August 25–27, 2026
- Quarterfinals: September 8–10 and September 15–17, 2026
- Semifinals and Play-In: October 20–22 and October 27–29, 2026
- Final: December 2 and December 6, 2026
The four semifinalists and the two Play-In winners will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, with the champion receiving a bye to the Round of 16.
Caribbean Cup draw and dates:
The 2026 Caribbean Cup Group Stage draw took place on May 26. During the live made-for-TV event in Miami, FL, the 10 participating clubs were split into two groups of five as follows:
- Group A: Violette AC (HAI), Defence Force FC (TRI), Club Sando FC (TRI), SV Broki (SUR), CFU Club Shield Runner-Up
- Group B: Cibao FC (DOM), Cavalier FC (JAM), Portmore United FC (JAM), Salcedo FC (DOM), CFU Club Shield Champion

At the conclusion of the competition, the finalists and third-place finisher will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, with the champion receiving a bye to the Round of 16.
