December 20 – Online e-commerce site eBay is upgrading its relationship with Serie A’s Inter Milan to become the club’s shirt sleeve sponsor from the January 4 with the home game against Napoli.
eBay started its sponsorship with Inter at the beginning of the season and as the club’s Official E-commerce Partner opens the club’s eBay marketplace store today.
Alice Acciarri, General Manager of eBay Italia, said: “Innovation and the continuous pursuit of excellence arethe bedrocks and shared values on which our partnership with Inter is based. This bond was further strengthened today with eBay gaining visibility on the club’s shirt, one of its most important commercial assets. We’re proud to have such prominence on what is a highly symbolic item for Inter fans.”
No term or value was given for the deal.
“We’re delighted to announce this new and significant development in the agreement between Inter and eBay, following on from the start of the partnership a few months ago,” said Alessandro Antonello, FCInternazionale Milano Corporate CEO, emphasizing the global reach of Inter.
