June 27 – Premier League Bournemouth, who surprised pretty much everyone – by staying up last season including Scott Parker, the manager who led their promotion – have extended their stadium rights naming deal for three years.
The Vitality Stadium was first named in 2015. The new deal will run through until at the summer of 2026 at least, said the club.
The health and life insurer will continue as the official wellness partner, with the sponsorship also covering the club’s men’s and women’s teams.
Jim Frevola, president of business operations at AFC Bournemouth, said: “They are very active partners and help the club promote an important health and wellbeing message to all our supporters.
“Their support for our Community Sports Trust and our flourishing women and girls’ set-up is also valued greatly and very much appreciated.
“When the new owners were carrying out their due diligence, Vitality stood out as a key brand and strategic partner, which is why we are so pleased they will continue their backing for at least the next three years.”
The club is majority owned by US investor Bill Foley who a week ago was celebrating the Stanley Cup win by his Las Vegas Knights ice hockey team. Foley established the NHL franchise in Vegas six years ago.
The Vitality Stadium was the smallest ground in the Premier League with a capacity of just 11,300. Newly promoted Luton Town’s Kenilworth Road stadium now has that ‘title’ with a capacity of 10,356.
As well as supporting the teams, Vitality is a headline partner of the club’s Community Sports Trust which offers sessions to children and adults across sites in Dorset and the Isle of Wight.

No value was given for the renewal.
