Concacaf unveils draw detail for new club competitions in Caribbean and Central America

June 6 – Concacaf has released details of the draws for its three regional cup competitions to take place August to November this year. The competitions will provide qualifying routes to the expanded Concacaf Champions League in 2024.

June 6 – Osasuna, Lokomotiva Zagreb, RFS, Bohemian FC, Union Saint-Gilloise and Maccabi Netanya will serve on the interim board of the Union of European Clubs (UEC), confirmed the organisation that was launched to protect the interests of smaller and medium-sized clubs across Europe.

June 5 – Despite protesting that he deserved more and that his Roma team were hard done by, José Mourinho was charged by UEFA on Friday after being filmed swearing at English referee Anthony Taylor in a stadium garage following the Europa League final.

Alderweireld strike wins Antwerp first Belgian league title in 64 years

June 5 – On a rollercoaster final day of the season, Antwerp won the Belgian league for the first time since 1957 thanks to a late strike by former Southampton and Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld to draw 2-2 at Racing Genk, enough to keep Union at bay, who ultimately lost 3-1 to Club Brugge.
