November 12 – The annual player demographic census by the CIES Football Observatory shows the immediate impact the coronavirus pandemic has had in slowing down the movement of players and “strengthening” the gaps between the elite clubs and league and the rest.

November 12 – Professional women’s football has been severely damaged by the coronavirus pandemic with wages cuts and a lack of support. All will miss Wednesday’s friendly against Scandinavian rivals Sweden, but may be able to rejoin the squad in time for two crucial Nations League fixtures.
