November 6 – In a landmark case that is potentially pivotal to UEFA’s efforts to force clubs to balance their books or suffer the consequences, Paris St Germain’s ongoing dispute with European football’s governing body over financial fair play is going all the way to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

July 4 – UEFA are to re-open their investigation into big-spending Paris St Germain, rekindling the threat of the Qatari-owned club being thrown out of Europe.
June 28 – Any suggestion that UEFA only imposes hard-hitting sanctions on smaller clubs for breaching financial fair rules has been well and truly dashed by the announcement of a one-season European ban on Italian giants AC Milan.

June 14 – Big spending Paris St. Germain have passed UEFA’s financial fair play (FFP) investigation for 2015, 2016 and 2017 but the club remains under the microscope for 2018 and could be forced to raise to €60 million through player sales to meet the regulations to avoid further scrutiny.
