August 4 – Under the new Chinese ownership of Tony Xia, England’s once great Aston Villa are expecting to be challengers for an immediate return to the Premier League. They will be hoping that success in achieving that will also transmit to their new challenger brand betting partner EnergyBet.
EnergyBet launches in the UK later this month having seen rapid growth in the Scandinavian and Eastern European markets. The sportsbook is a new product from EnergyCasino.com that has been operating in the UK with casino platform (licensed in the UK and Malta) since 2012.

For their part, EnergyBet are buying into a club that is desperately trying to rebuild after a sustained period of failure and uncertainly that has seen fans desert the club on matchdays, and reduced investment in the playing squad under the previous owner Randy Lerner who was keen to sell the club.
But the brand is still the strongest in the Midlands area and Xia’s ownership brings some hope of the required investment to turn the club round. Some doubts exist over his personal commitment to the club and how much he has to invest in the squad, but EnergyBet are very much backing the strength of the brand.
