Spurs blow Premier League attendance record away for third time with Gunners win

February 14 – Tottenham Hotspur broke the Premier League attendance record for the third time this season with 83,222 at Wembley Stadium watching their 1-0 win over fierce local rivals Arsenal.

Round 27 was another sell out weekend for the Premier League with every club reporting more than 90% of their stadium full and Spurs being the only club below 95%.

Premier League clubs have now sold more than 10 million tickets this season. Of the 10.7 million seats available only 510,555 have gone unfilled.

Newcastle United topped the weekly attendance table with just 96 seats unfilled at St James Park for their 1-0 win over Manchester United. Stoke, battling relegation, had just 213 unfilled seats for their 1-1 draw against Brighton.

Insideworldfootball attendance figures are taken from the official stadium capacities and the official match day attendances. No allowances are made for seat kills due to safety or media requirements.
