August 6 – Premier League Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a three-year partnership with Getir, the ‘ultrafast’ grocery delivery service. Getir will be an Official Global Partner.
Based in Istanbul, Getir promises a 10-minute grocery delivery offering goods from a selection of 1,500 everyday items. Getir is now operating in 38 cities in Turkey and launched in the UK in January and now operates in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool and Bristol. It launched in the Netherlands in May 2021, and Germany and France in June 2021

It’s great to now be able to deliver this in the UK with our first football club partnership with Tottenham Hotspur. We have worked hard to deliver groceries in minutes, and much like on the pitch where every second counts, we are focused on delivering state-of-the-art tech and creating unique experiences for fans,” said Turancan Salur, Getir UK General Manager.
This is Getir’s first sports sponsorship partnership in the UK. The company aims to be operational in 15 UK cities by the end of the year.
