Online trading platform NAGA buys Sevilla shirt position

August 10 – German-based digital investment platform NAGA has taken the shirt front sponsorship of LaLiga’s Sevilla in a three-year deal starting this season. Seville have qualified for the Champions League.

NAGA replace online bookmaker Marathonbet as the club’s main partner, also being designated Sevilla FC’s Global Trading Partner. No value was given for the sponsorship.

NAGA describes itself as a “social investing platform” and has more than 1 million users worldwide suing its market tools to make financial trades.

A selling point of the platform is the Autocopy feature that allows traders to copy each other and “thus creating a unique social trading environment with numerous benefits for the users.”

Seville chairman José Castro, said: “From today, we will share a great symbol of Sevilla FC – our shirt. A shirt that represents passion, dedication, and our most important gene – to never surrender. All these attributes have driven our club to many epic moments and to compete one more year in the UEFA Champions League. Under this partnership, we will share some core values such as innovation, technology and being close to the global community that we represent.”

As part of its marketing activation Naga will have acces to exclusive content, services and will work with the club “to develop technological projects and innovations aimed at enhancing financial acumen and related decision-making”, said a club statement.

Benjamin Bilski, CEO of NAGA, said: “Sevilla FC’s limitless ambition and the passion of its fans in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium is like a rare gem in the football world. We couldn’t be more delighted to support the club and its local fanbase with our new partnership. We’re sure it will benefit Sevilla’s community as well as help grow NAGA’s brand globally.”
