September 6 – Mercado Bitcoin, Latin America’s largest cryptocurrency and digital asset exchange has taken a shirt sponsorship of Brazilian giants Corinthians in a deal that will also see the club’s Fan Token listed on the exchange.
The shirt sponsorship begins with immediate effect and will initially run until the end of December 2022. No value was given for the deal.

“By joining forces with Mercado Bitcoin, the largest crypto-asset platform in Latin America, we can be sure that we are at the spearhead of innovation in marketing and fan engagement. This is where our future lies.”
Mercado Bitcoin, owned by the 2TM Group, is already listing the Corinthians Paulista fan token on its platform – $SCCP – that was issued on September 2 by Socios.com.
