December 14 – Juventus has teamed up with jewellery brand Aurora. The deal will give Aurora more exposure in the Italian market.
Aurora’s signature items are specially themed jewellery and limited edition 1g 24k Gold Bars, Aurora Italia will launch a Juventus 1g 24k Gold Bar next month that will reflect the club’s black and white striped shirt colours.
“The collaboration with Juventus will contribute to our further growth and development and will benefit the club supporters and gold bar collectors. Can’t wait to see the new 1g 24K Gold Bar to be launched,” said founder of Aurora Italia Datin Wira Yvonne Lim.
Neither the terms or value of the deal were disclosed.
Recently, Juventus’ offices were raided as part of an investigation into financial irregularities at the club. The investigation centres on profit from transfers and agents fees between 2019 and 2021. The probe also targets president Andrea Agnelli and vice-president Pavel Nedved.
The launch of merchandising range of gold bars is perhaps a little ironic with this investigation on-going.
