January 27 – UAE real estate developer Aldar Properties has become Manchester City’s Official Real Estate Partner.
The partnership will see the two “work together on a number of exciting new development projects within the region inthe realms of real estate, retail and football education,” said a club press release.
This will include promotion of Aldar residential projects to Man City’s global fanbase. Aldar will use the Man City brand and will have exposure in the club’s Etihad Stadium as well as across its digital platforms.
Rashed Al Omaira, chief commercial officer, Aldar Properties, said: “This is a very exciting partnership for us and one that will help us to bring Aldar closer to customers and investors in international markets and provide them with accessto Abu Dhabi’s vibrant real estate market. This partnership will also promote and encourage sport in Abu Dhabi and willenable the next generation of UAE footballers to learn from some of the world’s top football coaches.”
No value or term was given for the new global sponsorship.
