June 24 – Online bookmaker Meridianbet has expanded its agreement with the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) to become the official sponsor of Montenegrin football.
The agreement will run until the end of 2024 and expands on Meridianbet’s sponsorship of the top tier of the Montenegrin League.
FSCG President Dejan Savićević said:”We are immensely honoured to have the support of Meridianbet, a company with regional and international credibility. We are glad that Meridianbet recognized the mutual benefits of this partnership, which we look forward to taking to even greater heights.”
Meridianbet will have branding at all official competitions, including domestic leagues and national teams, and will provide assistance in developing infrastructure, sports facilities, and youth programs.
Jovana Klisić, Executive Director of Meridianbet Montenegro, said: “As a company recognized as a leader in sports betting and gaming throughout Southeast Europe, this sponsorship will massively improve the quality of Montenegrin football as well as our reputation for being the region’s top sports sponsor.”
No value was given for the sponsorship.
