Nottingham Forest land Kaiyun as shirt sponsor up to start of bookie ban in 2025

September 1 – Nottingham Forest have penned a two-year deal with Asian-fcussed sports betting platform Kaiyun Sports that will see the bookie become the club’s official front-of-shirt sponsor until 2025 in a two-season deal.

Premier League clubs have agreed to end front-of-shirt sponsorships at the end of the 2024/25 season. Nottingham Forest will be the eight club with a bookmaker as their main shirt and club sponsor.

It is the first front-of-shirt sponsorship deal Forest have agreed since promotion to the Premier League for the 2022-23 season.

The partnership made its debut in Forest’s 1-0 EFL cup defeat versus Burnley at the City Ground on Wednesday night.

The newest addition to Forest’s sponsorship family will replace the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, who had their logo featured on the team kit from December last year.

Kaiyun Sports also has sponsorhsip partnerships with Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Crystal Palace. For the 2022/23 season it was the sleeve sponsor for Aston Villa.

A club spokesperson said: “We look forward to working closely with Kaiyun Sports on a number of exciting activations and initiatives to engage with new and existing audiences in Asia and across the world. Kaiyun Sports have a reputation for redefining the fan experience for global audiences of the Premier League and other dominant European leagues.”

No value was given for the deal.

Nottingham Forest continue their Premier League campaign at Chelsea on Saturday.
