September 5 – A man has been arrested for alleged assault following an altercation at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Sunday during which Sky Sports analyst Roy Keane was reportedly headbutted.
Footage was posted on social media of former Manchester City defender Micah Richards, who also works as a pundit for Sky, pinning a man against a wall moments after the incident.
Police said a 42-year-old had been arrested and that “enquiries are ongoing.”
“The Metropolitan Police is conducting an investigation into the matter and we are fully cooperating with their enquiries,” an Arsenal spokesperson said.
Keane, a former Manchester United captain, was working for Sky during the game which Arsenal won 3-1.
