Turkey looks to 2032 Euro hosting and agrees national team deals with Istanbul airport’s iGA PASS

November 20 – The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and have agreed a national team sponsorship with Istanbul airport’s iGA PASS which provides services for travellers through the airport.

The agreement covers Turkey’s men’s and women’s and youth national football teams.

The signing ceremony was held at İGA Istanbul Airport with the participation of İGA Istanbul Airport Deputy CEO Selahattin Bilgen and Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi.

Büyükekşi, President of the Turkish Football Federation, said: “We recently won the right to organize the 2032 European Football Championship together with Italy. We realized a dream and crowned the 100th anniversary of our Republic. Our modern stadiums, accommodation facilities, transportation network and the presence of high-level airports played a major role in our success in this important organization. Therefore, we can proudly say that we are already ready for the 2032 European Football Championship,” said Büyükekşi.

“With İGA Pass our first collaboration took place in 2021. They became the supply sponsor of all our national teams. Now we are expanding this sponsorship… They will also provide services to our teams… Additionally, we will cooperate with them for the sale of our new Euro 2024 jerseys. We will present our crescent-star jersey in our special store at Istanbul Airport.”

Bilgen added: “Turkish football has an important position in the world. İGA Istanbul Airport is among the world’s largest airports. In this respect, it is very important for us that two such strong organizations come together. The strong synergy arising from this unity will benefit both İGA and I wholeheartedly believe that it will add value to Turkish football.”
