November 22 – The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has signed a long term agreement with retailer Lagardère which will sell national team merchandise across 22 different stores, mainly located in Romanian airports.
“Football fans now have at their disposal a whole network of shops where they can buy the products of the national football team. Complete football equipment, t-shirts, scarves, balls and much more, await them in the Lagardère Travel Retail Romania stores at the airports in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Suceava, Bacău and Iași, plus in other stores in Bucharest, Ploiesti , Pitesti, Oradea, Iasi, Baia Mare, Craiova, Cluj-Napoca, Brasov, Arad, Constanta. The way we live, travel, shop has changed. People are more attentive to their needs and time, more impatient and eager for meaningful products. Anticipating these trends, Lagardère Travel Retail Romania brings to its customers a topic dear to Romanians: football,” said the FRF in a statement.
The partnership aims to promote Romania and its national football team on a larger scale both domestically and internationally.
