Tree hugger Right Pack signs mystery Botev Plovdiv sponsorship package

January 16 – Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv has signed a sponsorship with Right Pack, one of the leading packaging manufacturers in Bulgaria, though what the sponsorship entails is unclear.

Right Pack was established in 2006 as part of the Austrian printing group RATT GmbH. In 2013 it became wholly Bulgarian owned and has developed its business.

Since the end of last year, Right Pack has been a full member of Botev Business Club, which aims to gather rich and famous fans of Botev Plovdiv in one place.
“We have been working with Right Pack for several years, and in the last month we also launched our official partnership with them. One of the leading reasons to partner, apart from their great professionalism and product quality, is their main mission – a greener industry, which perfectly fits into our vision of development,” said Mimi Visheva, Partnerships manager at Botev Plovdiv.

No value for the sponsorship was given or detail of what Right Pack will receive for its sponsorship. For the moment right Pack seems to be focussed on its green credentials.

Dimitar Dimitrov, commercial director of Right Pack, said: “Right Pack’s mission and goal is to reach production in which 50% of our packaging is made of recycled paper by the end of 2025. The recycling of paper and its subsequent use play an important role in reducing the negative impact on the environment and, in particular, deforestation. Increasing the use of recycled paper by just 10% could save 1,843,200 trees. We are glad to find like-minded people in Botev Plovdiv.”
