June 25 – The Gold Cup quarter-final line-up was completed yesterday with Panama vs Honduras being scheduled for the State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Saturday June 28.
They will be the first match on before reigning champions Mexico face tournament guests Saudi Arabia.
The following day (Sunday June 29), at the U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Canada will face Guatemala before the USA meet Costa Rica, the pick of the quarter final match-ups. Costa Rica drew their final group game with Mexico to finish level on points but behind on goal difference.
The winners win then play semi-finals on July 2 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, or Energizer Park in St. Louis, Missouri, with the Final on July 6 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

The winners of Quarterfinal matchups 2 and 3 will meet in Santa Clara, while the winners of Quarterfinal matchups 1 and 4 will compete in St. Louis.
Mexico will likely face Canada in the semi-finals in Santa Clara with both teams overwhelming favourites to beat their quarter final.
The US, having had an easier group stage, will now face sterner tests in Costa Rica and Panama, presuming Panama beat Honduras. The US lost to Panama at the Nations League in March. In 2023 Panama made it all the way to the final, losing 1-0 to Mexico.
The quarter finals and semis will go straight to penalties if the match ends as a draw on 90 minutes. The final will play 30 minutes of extra time followed by penalties if scores are level at the finish.
