June 4 – FIFA and global sports streaming platform DAZN have launched FIFA+ exclusively on DAZN, marking a major new phase in their strategic partnership and a significant step toward building what both organisations are calling the ‘Global Home of Football’.
The new service consolidates thousands of FIFA-related live events, archive content, and original programming into a single global destination, sitting alongside DAZN’s extensive football rights portfolio. The move expands the FIFA-DAZN collaboration that began at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with DAZN’s $1 billion rights but that saved the competion, expanding the relationship into a permanent, always-on ecosystem.
FIFA+ on DAZN will deliver about 8,500 live football events annually in selected territories, anchored by content from FIFA’s Member Associations.
The platform will also house archive content from past men’s and women’s World Cups, featuring full match replays, highlights, and historic footage from previously unseen angles. The 2026 line-up will include the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, the U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, the U-17 World Cup in Qatar, and the Intercontinental Cup in select territories.
FIFA secretary general Mattias Grafström said: “The integration of FIFA+ into DAZN represents a key milestone in our ambition to make football truly global and accessible… we are now taking the next steps in building the Global Home of Football, bringing together competitions, content, and storytelling on a single platform while creating new opportunities for our FIFA Member Associations to grow their audiences worldwide.”
DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev added: “Launching FIFA+ will allow fans everywhere to access matches, iconic moments, and original content on DAZN for free as part of the world’s largest football community.”
