Bulgarian second tier club FC Fratria agree deal with Spartak Varna to share stadium

3rd September 2025

September 1 – Bulgaria’s Spartak Varna has signed a partnership agreement with second-division FC Fratria that will see Fratria will use the Spartak stadium for its home matches in the Second League.

In return Fratria have committed to invest in the facility’s maintenance as well as pay rent for the use of the stadium for each home game.

“Spartak Varna and Fratria have reached a new agreement, this time concerning the Spartak stadium. FC Fratria will make initial investments related to several major activities for aeration, rolling and complete seeding of the field. The second-division club will carry out regular maintenance activities of the facility, providing human resources, expertise and materials for this purpose. Fratria will pay rent for the use of the stadium and will hold its home matches at the Spartak stadium,” Spartak Varna saiod in a club statement.

“Fratria takes full responsibility for the maintenance and condition of the base, and in return receives the opportunity to use it. The achieved framework ensures sustainable management and regular maintenance of the stadium – something that is of great benefit to our club at this time,” Spartak added.

Until now, the Fratria team played its home matches at a stadium with a capacity of 3,000 seats in the Black Sea resort of Albena, located 30 km from Varna.
