September 18 – Following in the footsteps of Juventus and AC Milan, Serie A Champions, SSC Napoli have announced a five-year deal with Emporio Armani to provide the club’s official formal wear for the 2025/26 season onward.
The formal collection, which includes a blend of suits, pullovers, accessories, and travel gear, debuted before Napoli’s UEFA Champions League opener against Manchester City.
Napoli’s timing puts them in close company with Juventus. The Old Lady of Italian football recently unveiled its own formal wear deal with Giorgio Armani running through the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons. Under that deal, Juventus’ men’s first team will wear Armani suits, overshirts, water-repellent cashmere, and lightweight knits, especially for off-pitch, formal, and travel occasions.
Napoli’s choice of style differs from Juve though, and doubles down on the club’s identity, which is everything to the people of Naples. Armani are uniting Napoli’s sky blue heritage with the company’s natural luxury aesthetic. For both clubs, these fashion partnerships signal a shift in how football outfits beyond replica shirts are used as brand tools.
In short, Napoli’s new Armani agreement places them in a competitive peer group where fashion and football intersect, and image is as carefully curated as performance.
