Building community: The FA ugrades Wembley Stadium Learning Zone

March 6 – The English FA has refreshed and upgraded its national stadium educational hub in Wembley that has grown to become an established part of the local community.

First launched nine years ago, the Learning Zone inside the national stadium has evolved into a year-round community hub, welcoming schools from across the London Borough of Brent and beyond.

Now, following a refurbishment completed at the end of 2025, the space has moved from a matchday spectacle to performing measurable social impact.

The transformation celebrates Wembley’s heritage and local community with new technology driving interactive workshops and digital learning.

Delivered in collaboration with Brent Council and the Wembley Stadium Foundation, programmes connect young people to themes ranging from music production to careers within the stadium itself.

One teacher recently described it as: “An excellent and inspiring experience at Wembley Stadium for children, with outstanding music teaching throughout.”

The refreshed Learning Zone reflects the modern game. Stadiums are no longer just venues to watch football; they are increasingly becoming civic platforms that trade in education, wellbeing, and community development.
