England captain Harry Kane has joined an elite cast of sporting stars at Madame Tussauds London after the attraction unveiled the first-ever wax figure of the Bayern Munich striker ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
The figure, which goes on public display from June 5, is the result of a six-month collaboration between Kane and Madame Tussauds’ studio team, who worked to recreate the England captain’s appearance down to the ‘smallest details’.
Dressed in the official England home shirt for the 2026 World Cup and wearing the latest Skechers SKX_2 Elite World Cup boots, the figure reflects the image Kane will present on football’s biggest stage later this year.
Kane was given the opportunity to come face-to-face with his wax likeness before its public unveiling and praised the attention to detail, including the tape on his wedding finger that has become part of his trademark goal celebration.
“It was a real honour to get the call from Madame Tussauds,” Kane said. “London is a special place for me and it feels like a true full-circle moment. Seeing the final result was special – it’s like looking in the mirror. I can’t wait for young fans to pose next to the figure and I hope it inspires children to keep working hard and believing in themselves.”
The launch also paid tribute to Kane’s footballing roots. Young players from Ridgeway Rovers in Walthamstow, the grassroots club where Kane began playing as a six-year-old, were invited to be the first visitors to view the figure.
Madame Tussauds London General Manager Steve Blackburn said bringing Kane’s first figure to the capital was a natural decision given his standing within the sport.
“Harry Kane is one of the most important figures in global sport both on the pitch and beyond,” Blackburn said. “Our studio team loved working closely with Harry and we can’t wait for fans to have their own picture moment with the England captain.”
Kane joins a football-themed line-up that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah, Mary Earps and Kylian Mbappé.
The unveiling comes during another landmark year for the 32-year-old. England’s all-time leading goalscorer heads into the 2026 World Cup as one of the tournament’s marquee players, having recently secured a second European Golden Shoe in three seasons while continuing to add to a career filled with individual accolades and club success.
Dependant on the striker’s fortunes at the World Cup, he could well add a Ballon d’Or to that cabinet.
