Liverpool land Banc de Binary in new online trading deal

Liverpool and Banc de Binary

September 9 – Liverpool FC has announced a partnership with Banc De Binary, a binary options company that operates an online trading website through which customers may buy and sell binary options, for the 2015/2016 season.

Although the financial details of the deal have not been publicised, industry sources estimate the value of the deal to be worth £1.5 million.

The Cypriot company will serve as Liverpool’s Official Binary Options Partner in Europe, Canada, Australia and South Africa.

The United States is conspicuously absent from this list, and are necessarily so because Banc De Binary ‘voluntarily’ decided to continue its operations therein. As per the statement on its website, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission “have asserted that Banc De Binary is not permitted to offer its binary option products to U.S. residents without registering with those agencies.”

As part of its deal with Liverpool Banc De Binary will digital marketing support from Liverpool, LED branding at domestic cup matches and provision of players and legends at select company events.

Banc De Binary traders will have the ability to obtain signed Liverpool merchandise and hospitality packages as well as entering recurrent ticket raffles and other periodical club rewards opportunities.

Banc De Binary took to its blog to write: “We hope that our new partnership will unite our valued traders, and the loyal Liverpool fan base. We see Liverpool as a natural partner that traders can look up to. LFC is one of England’s most successful foot clubs and holds 41 major honors to its name.”

The founder of the company, Oren Laurent, has drawn attention to Liverpool’s “iconic legacy and unique status in the football world… which stands as a shining example for determination, success and class.”

The chief commercial officer of Liverpool, Billy Hogan, said: “Our partnerships are about quality relationships and as a club we feel a great affinity with the drive and ambition reflected by Banc De Binary. We very much look forward to working together.”

Liverpool is becoming an especially visible club in the online trading industry, as this new deal adds to the two-year sponsorship agreement the club made in July 2014 with InstaForex for the Asia and CIS markets.

Presumably, Liverpool is hoping the partnership will foster some binary 1-0 victories.
