November 11- Will you be following the FA Cup this year? Do you take photographs on Instagram? Well , in a tradition-breaking endeavour by the English FA, your photograph could be used on tickets for this season’s showpiece final.

The FA have announced that Instagrammers taking photographs between the first round proper and the semifinals in April 2016 could see their filtered piece of art as the design of the Emirates FA Cup final ticket.

This will be the first time in the 134-year history of the world’s oldest and most prestigious domestic knockout club competition where a fan who has captured a piece of the magic in the competition could see his photograph used on the 90,000 sought-after tickets for the final.

To launch the contest, the FA recruited famous Instagram photographer Emmanuel Cole who went to see Leyton orient versus Staines town in the first round of the cup to take photographs.

The FA have also invited other Instagram photographers to be accredited for FA Cup ties throughout each stage of this season’s competition. Cole will be one of the judges of the competition and stated: “For a fan to have their photo featured on the ticket designed for this season’s Final is an amazing opportunity to showcase the competition’s importance to the fans.”

To enter, fans attending any FA Cup game just need to upload the photos to Instagram with the Hashtag #EmiratesFACup.
