West Ham edge Newcastle and Chelsea in seventh round of sold out games

October 4 – The Premier League had another sold out weekend for Round 7 of the season with four clubs reporting over 99% of their stadium capacity full, eight clubs over 95% and all ten home teams over 90%.

September 27 – The Premier League has sold more than 2.2 million tickets in the first six rounds of the season. Just 124,360 seats have gone unfilled, the majority of them due to stadium capacity restrictions.

September 12 –  A stunning nine out of 10 Premier League teams reported home stadium capacities of more than 95% at the weekend with West Ham topping the table with just 23 seats unfilled for their Monday night first win of the season against Huddersfield.

Premier League newcomers Brighton dismiss fears over Amex Stadium cladding

June 27 – Premier League newcomers have allayed fears over the safety of the Amex Stadium after it emerged the cladding for the stadium was produced by Reynobond, the manufacturer of the cladding used in the Grenfell Tower that was devastated by fire last week, claiming the lives of at least 79 occupants.

May 25 – Arch-rivals on the pitch, Manchester City and Manchester United have jointly pledged £1 million to an emergency fund set up to support the victims of Monday’s suicide bomb attack that killed 22 people and left 64 injured.
