July 13 – The end of Euro 2016 means only one thing: the annual summer spending spree in Europe being stepped up, particularly in the Premier League where clubs are already splashing the cash to boost resources ahead of the most lucrative season on record in terms of television revenue.
July 8 – Manchester City have signed a new player. Kieran ‘Kez’ Brown will represent Manchester City in football gaming tournaments and fan events.
July 7 – Manchester City, hard on the heels of its Cityzens weekend and the launch of various digital initiatives has now turned its attention back to China where it has extended its relationship with specialist business development company, Zhong An Holdings.
July 6 – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he was “shocked” by the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union and that it could have a serious negative effect on the Premier League in the long term.
June 30 – With rumours raging that Manchester United are about to announce the signing of Swedish striker Zoltan Ibrahimovic, the club have confirmed that they have added an extra overseas game to the pre-season tour…in Sweden.
June 21 – Premier League Liverpool are reporting that they only have 200 season tickets left for their new ‘Anfield Dugout’ hospitality are in the revamped stadium that opens for the 2016/17 season.
June 16 – It’s all about buying at Premier League Liverpool at the moment. The club has just launched its new all-black away kit for fans to buy, while news has emerged that a Chinese group has reportedly valued the club at £700 million and wants to progress the deal, though confirmation of that proposal is hard to find.
June 16 – The preparations for Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium and life as a dual sports venue are moving along with a visit to the site from National Football League (NFL) international vice president Mark Waller.
June 15 – The Premier League has cleared Chinese businessman Dr Tony Xia to complete his £76 million takeover of Aston Villa. Xia is buying the club, relegated from the Premier League this season, from American Randy Lerner who paid £62.2 million in 2006.
June 8 – Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has quit the club after just two seasons in the job for the lure of Everton’s big money new owner. Saints will receive £5 million in compensation.

June 7 – Chelsea and Jose Mourinho have reached a confidential undisclosed settlement with former team doctor Eva Carneiro at an employment tribunal in London, bringing to an end one of the less savoury episodes in English football.
June 7 – The former Chelsea team doctor who was verbally lambasted by Jose Mourinho and had her position downgraded rejected a £1.2 million settlement from the club, documents submitted to her employment tribunal show.
June 6 – Another English Premier League club has been bought by US investors. Welsh club Swansea City, who play in the English league and cup, have completed a sale of what is believed to be 60% of their shareholding for £110 million to US investors Jason Levien (pictured) and Steve Kaplan.
May 30 – Tottenham Hotspur will play their Champions League home games next season at the national stadium at Wembley because of reduced capacity at the north London club’s already limited 36,000-seater ground.
May 30 – Hull City have secured a quick return to the English Premier League after winning what has traditionally been billed as the most financially lucrative game in world football, the English Championship play-off, joining already promoted Burnley and Middlesbrough in the top flight next season.
