March 4 – Germany’s league association and league organisation (DFL) are aligning with the ‘Bundesliga’ competition name from the start of the 2026-27 season. Gone will be the old, and often confusing, DFL moniker, to be replaced by Bundesliga e.V. and Bundesliga GmbH.
