April 4 – FC Barcelona have won their appeal at the CSD (Higher Sports Council) which has ruled that Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor can be registered, overturning the denial of the preliminary visa and registration of both players by LaLiga and the RFEF (Spanish Football Federation).
February 28 – La Liga president Javier Tebas has accused Manchester City of financial deception akin to that of Enron, claiming that the Premier League champions hide losses in different companies to improve the club’s finances.
