June 25 – Inter Miami CF have signed a landmark long-term deal with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), naming the global tech firm the first Founding Partner and Official Technology Partner of Miami Freedom Park.
The agreement places HPE at the heart of the club’s $1 billion stadium and mixed-use development, which is scheduled to open in 2026.
The partnership makes HPE the exclusive provider of network infrastructure, cloud services, and hybrid cloud solutions across the 131-acre site, including Inter Miami’s new stadium. It marks a significant step in aligning stadium development with digital transformation—bringing enterprise-grade technology into every layer of the matchday and fan experience.
HPE’s suite of services will underpin the new venue, including high-density Wi-Fi and AI-driven network management.
It will also offer real-time analytics to support both operational efficiency and commercial strategy, creating a connected ecosystem that adapts dynamically to crowd flows, demand spikes, and user behaviour.
The deal reflects a growing emphasis in global sport on intelligent venue design, where infrastructure and fan engagement are increasingly interlinked.
Antonio Neri, CEO of HPE, said: “Technology can be a powerful tool for passionate fans to engage in new ways and for teams to perform at their best. We are excited to partner with Inter Miami CF and provide the most innovative environment for enjoying a match or performance.”
“This is more than a partnership,” added Xavier Asensi, the club’s president of business operations. “It’s a key pillar in building the most advanced and fan-focused destination in global sports and entertainment.”
As the club prepares to move out of its temporary home at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, the partnership with HPE underscores Inter Miami’s intent to set a new commercial and technological benchmark for stadium development in the MLS.
Having escaped the group stages of the FIFA Club World Cup, Messi and Co face a tough route to the final – first facing off against PSG before a quarter final versus the winner of FC Bayern and Flamengo.
