April 14 – A bookmaker has allegedly approached two players at Delhi FC in the Indian I-League Second Division in an attempt to fix matches, Minerva club owner Ranjit Bajaj has claimed.

April 14 – Bayern Munich have dramatically dropped Sadio Mané and fined the Senegal forward following reports that he struck teammate Leroy Sané after Tuesday’s Champions League 3-0 loss to Manchester City.

April 14 – New York Red Bulls forward Dante Vanzeir (pictured) has been suspended for six games and fined by Major League Soccer for using a racist remark during last Saturday’s match against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Premier League moves to ban bookies from club shirt fronts, but leave sleeves open

April 13 – Premier League clubs have voted to ban gambling sponsors on the front of their shirts from the start of the 2026-27 season. The league said the clubs had taken the measure “voluntarily in order to reduce gambling advertising”.
