Joint Irish letter calls for UEFA ban on Israel over Gaza war

September 18 – In a joint letter, Irish club Bohemians, Irish Sport for Palestine and NGO FairSquare have called on UEFA to suspend Israel. 

The organisations invoke alleged violations of the UEFA and FIFA statutes to demand that the European confederation suspend the Israeli Football Association (IFA) with immediate effect.
