Mexico’s fast start knocks Jamaica off their rhythm

July 12 – Mexico marched into the Gold Cup with a 3-0 win over Jamaica that was powered by an impressive first half display that saw them go into the break 2-0 up and the match pretty much won.

July 11 – The Ukrainian FA has followed up Dynamo Kiev’s strongly-worded attack on Turkish club Fenerbahce for playing in Russia by lodging a formal protest to FIFA and UEFA against the pre-season tournament that was staged in St. Petersburg last week.
