February 22 – New Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe says he wants to build a new stadium to replace Old Trafford where the club have played since 1910 – and make it a national venue.

Kosovo FA unveil 4-year development and facilities plan through to 2028

February 22 – The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) have unveiled a four-year strategy for the development of Kosovar football. Titled ‘Foundations of the future’, the strategy will be implemented for the 2024-28 period.

Mura-Maribor Slovenian derby abandoned after fans through smoke bombs and fireworks

February 20 – Ugly scenes marred the Slovenian Prva Liga derby between Mura and Maribor which was abandoned at the start of the second half with the score 2-0 in favor of Maribor after visiting fans started throwing smoke bombs and fireworks on to the pitch.

Serbian FA grants €500k to new firm to fix new stadium failures

February 16 – The Football Federation of Serbia (FFS) has granted €500,000 to a newly created stadium management business FFS Stadioni doo Beograd, to be used for the repair and maintenance of the three newest stadiums in Serbia – in Leskovac, Zaječar and Loznica.

Russia to pay Serbian FA $250K for March friendly in Moscow

February 13 – The Serbian Football Federation (FSS) will receive €250,000 for the friendly game against Russia, to be played on March 21 in Moscow, according to FSS Vice President Branislav Nedimović.

Cyprus FA meets government and asks for help in bringing violence under control

February 1 – The Cyprus Football Federation (CFA) participated in today’s session of the Legal Committee of the Parliament of Cyprus to discuss the proposals of the Council of Ministers for amending changes to the law on the prevention and suppression of violence in sports venues.

January 29 – In a rare throwback to the dark days of English football hooliganism, an FA Cup match between fierce rivals West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers had to be suspended on Sunday after “dangerous and inexcusable” crowd trouble.
