December 1 – The Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) who last week announced a landmark broadcast partnership with telecoms giant China Mobile Migu, has further expanded its content commitment in the country with the launch of new accounts on Toutiao and Douyin.

November 26 – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced a groundbreaking broadcast and sponsorship partnership with China Mobile Migu, one of the world’s largest companies.
November 25 – Asian Football Confederation president Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has delivered a strong message that the AFC is on track to deliver crucial qualifying competitions in 2021.
November 16 – Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran and Uzbekistan will move into the next stage of the bidding race for the 2027 Asian Cup after the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) received the necessary Letter of Undertaking from all five countries.

October 20 – Kolkata-based club Sporting Mohammedan confirmed their return to the I-League with a 2-0 win over Bhawanipore to wrap up the I-League qualifiers which served as a coronavirus test case for Indian football.
October 16 – Japan’s professional women’s league – The WE League – has picked its 11 founding clubs ahead of the inaugural 2021-22 season.
October 13 – South Korea, the first major football country to return to top tier league action in May after the global football shutdown in March, has now announced a limited reopening of stadia to fans.
October 12 – The Singapore Premier League (SPL) will resume behind closed doors on October 17, local authorities announced after coronavirus tests for all 223 players came back negative and the overall decline of the virus in the country.

October 9 – Qatar has stepped up in the Asian Football Confederation’s hour of need to host the four uncompleted AFC Champions League (East) groups and knockout rounds, starting November 18, in Doha. Their hosting will enable the completion of the AFC’s flagship club competition which had been identified as a priority by the confederation.
