Man City to showcase Expo 2020 Dubai and vice versa

June 28 – Manchester City, owned by the UAE’s City Football Group (CFG), has gone closer to home with its latest sponsorship. Expo 2020 Dubai has been designated the club’s Official Exhibition partner.

CFG will also promote the Expo, the largest event in the Arab world, through local activations at its sister clubs.

Expo 2020 Dubai runs from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022 and has participants from 190 countries. As its mission statement it “is dedicated to bringing together people, communities and nations to build bridges, inspire actions and deliver solutions to real-life challenges.”

The partnership will see Manchester City have a presence at the mega event.

The City Football Group club network has a number of activations planned with other clubs in its network including Mumbai City FC, New York City FC, Melbourne City FC and Yokohama F. Marinos.

Expo 2020 will also become an Official Partner of the Hero Indian Super League 2021 Champions, Mumbai City FC, ahead of the new ISL season.
