May 1 – New Balance has secured a multi-year agreement to become the official kit supplier of Atalanta B.C. from the 2025/26 season, replacing long-time partner Joma in a move that marks a commercial step up for the Bergamo-based club.
January 9 – New Balance is set to re-enter top-flight Italian football after securing a multi-year kit supply deal with UEFA Europa League champions Atalanta.
December 7 – Brazilian Serie A side São Paulo has signed with New Balance which will see the sportswear manufacturers become the three-time Club World Cup champions’ official kit supplier for both men’s and women’s teams effective from January 2024.
November 24 – Real Madrid-bound Brazilian starlet Endrick is set to sign a long-term boot deal with New Balance after becoming the third-youngest player to feature for Brazil earlier this week.
March 2 – US sportswear brand New Balance has extended its current sponsorship agreement with France’s Ligue 1 leaders LOSC LILLE.
February 16 – New Balance are to take over as AS Roma’s kit supplier from the start of the 2021/22 season, the first Serie A club to join the US leisurewear company’s team roster.
December 3 – Sportswear and boot brand New Balance has expanded its partnerships in Japan with the addition of J-League club FC Tokyo in a multi-year sponsorship.
October 13 – Serie A club AS Roma are reportedly close to signing a longer term kit deal with US sportswear brand New Balance.
June 3 – New Balance, who are being replaced by Nike as Liverpool’s kit supplier from next season, have agreed a short-term extension to their current contract that will see them through to July 31 and the likely crowning of Liverpool as Premier League champions.
March 16 – In March 2015 Scottish giants Celtic traded in Nike for another US firm, New Balance, as the club’s kit supplier in what was a record deal. Five years later New Balance is being replaced by Adidas in another new record deal.
January 7 – Liverpool have formally announced that Nike will become the club’s official supplier from the start of the next season when the current New Balance deal ends.
March 14 – New Balance has extended its kit supply deal with FC Porto through to the end of the 2024/25, a deal that will see it supply the current Portuguese league leaders for 10 years.
February 22 – US-based New Balance has expanded its footprint in France’s Ligue 1, becoming the Official Kit Supplier FC Nantes in a deal that will start next season.
September 14 – New Balance has expanded into Russia with the its first kit deal with a Russian Super League club FC Rubin.
June 8 – New Balance has added Belgian first division side Royal Standard de Liège to its kit supply roster, taking over Kappa. The US sportswear firm will provide the team with kit, training wear and equipment starting with the 2017/18 season.
