February 16 – Concacaf is returning to the Dominican Republic for the finals of its Women’s U20 Championship that will qualify three teams for next year’s U-20 Women’s World Cup.
February 14 – Concacaf is revamping its competition formats for the its men’s and women’s youth tournaments that will see a minimum 20% increase in the number of matches played. The new look competitions will start in April 2023.
February 2 – The AFC and Concacaf have signed a four-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focussed on increasing competition between the two regions for men’s and women’s national teams and clubs.

January 27 – Conmebol’s flagship Copa America will be played in the US in 2024 for the second time with all 10 of the South American nations and the six best Concacaf teams competing.
December 9 – The walls are closing in on former FIFA vice president and Concacaf president Jack Warner. Having lost his appeal against extradition to the US, earlier this week he lost a first round legal battle with Concacaf over a long running dispute concerning the Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence in Macoya, Trinidad.
December 5 – Members of the Trinidad and Tobago FA (TTFA) have called an extraordinary general meeting in a bid to ensure the end of the Normalisation Committee currently running the game in the country.
November 21 – At last a positive story from Qatar. Concacaf, in support of its qualified teams Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and United States, and is opening its Concacafe – a pop-up cafe in the heart of Doha.
November 17 – Football’s most-wanted, former FIFA vice-president Jack Warner, has lost his appeal to the UK’s Privy Council and can be extradited from Trinidad to face multiple corruption charges in the US.
November 15 – Concacaf has extended its partnership with Host Broadcast Services (HBS) for the next four years until December 2026 to provide broadcast coverage for its it major competitions including the Gold Cup, W Gold Cup, W Championship, Nations League Finals and Champion’s League.
November 8 – Former champions Tigres UANL from LigaMX will meet Orlando City from the MLS in what looks to be the pick of the ties from the Round of 16 draw for Concacaf Champions League (SCCL).
October 28 – The SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles will host the final of the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, while the confederation has confirmed for the second time there will be a 12-team centralised preliminary round in the US the week before the Group stages start.
October 24 – Concacaf and The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which will see the two confederations collaborate on developing the game in both regions.
August 17 –Salvadoran football is in crisis with FIFA having appointed a normalisation committee to run the administration of the Salvadoran Football Association (FESFUT) after government intervention removed president Hugo Carillio and the entire FESFUT executive committee.
August 17 – Guatemala will host the finals of the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship, February 11 – 26 in Guatemala City and Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala.
August 8 – The 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf League (SCL) will enter the knockout stages next weekend with Concacaf having confirmed the schedule for the Round of 16 two-legged match-ups.
