June 24 – Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi, one of the most powerful figures in global football, was acquitted on appeal for a second time today by a Swiss federal court on charges of corruption in the long-running saga over the attribution of World Cup TV rights.

June 23 – Transgender and non-binary footballers can play for a women’s or men’s team, the German Football Association (DFB) said today, a decision that goes against the trend of banning transgenders from the women’s game.Transgender, intersex and non-binary players can decide for themselves on which team they want to compete.
