November 5 – Concacaf has confirmed the schedules for the inaugural finals of the 2023 Central American Cup and the 2023 Caribbean Cup. The winners of both finals will receive a bye through to the 2024 Concacaf Tup round of 16.
November 1 – Concacaf has set the November dates for the final rounds of its Nations League quarter finals which will qualify the final four for the March 2024 finals.
October 30 – The Jamaican Football Federation (JFF) says the Reggae Girlz have now been paid their World Cup bonuses after the players that qualified for the round of 16 at the 2023 World Cup boycotted en masse call-ups for the Concacaf W Gold Cup qualifiers.
October 26 – Jamaica’s womens team, without a single player from their stand-out 2023 World Cup squad, lost their first 2024 W Gold Cup qualifier 2-1 away to Panama at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City.
October 25 – With 21 of the 27 clubs already qualified, Concacaf have announced it will hold the draw for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup, the rebranded Champions League, on December 15.
October 23 – Jamaica’s women’s national team said they are withdrawing from two upcoming W Gold Cup qualifiers because of “constant mistreatment” by their federation and incomplete payment of World Cup bonuses.
October 18 – Jamaica and Honduras secured their places in the quarter final rounds of the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League with wins over Haiti and Cuba respectively. Jamaica topped group B with 10 points, having drawn with Haiti in their first encounter.
October 12 – Concacaf has upped its digital engagement game by becoming an early adopter of the new WhatsApp Channels service recently launched by Meta, announcing itself as one of the first major sports organisations to communicate directly to fans on WhatsApp.
October 9 – Concacaf has confirmed the final round schedules for its inaugural Central American and Caribbean Cup competitions that will qualify clubs to its revamped renamed Concacaf Champions League, now called the Concacaf Champions Cup.
October 2 – Concacaf has named Mexico as host for the 2024 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship which will be played at the Mexican Football Federation headquarters, in Toluca.
September 25 – Concacaf has released the match schedule for the October rounds of group play in its Nations League that will decide four qualifiers for the quarter finals of the competition and ultimately the six qualifiers for next summer’s Conmebol Copa America USA.
September 4 – Concacaf has released the quarter final match-ups for the 2023 Concacaf Central American Cup to be September 26-28 (first legs) and October 3-5 (second legs).
August 29 – Concacaf has released the dates for the W Gold Cup qualifiers to be played in September, October and November and will see three teams go directly into the inaugural edition of the 12-team competition to be played February 17 – March 10, 2024 in the US.
August 13 – Concacaf has released the September schedule for the third edition Nations League that will qualify two teams from the region for the Conmebol Copa America USA 2024 that will see six teams from Concacaf join the South Americans.
July 23 – To mark the start of the Women’s World Cup 2023 and as a send-off for a record number of Concacaf nations playing in the event, Concacaf through Skyworx Drone Shows, staged another spectacular drone light show.
