January 18 – With the Group Stage of the UAE Asian Cup 2019, statistics having come to an end, statistics show that players wearing shirt number 19 are topping the goal scoring list so far in the continental competition.
Thanks to 7 goals from AlMoez Ali of Qatar, the number 19 shirt has netted 15 times in an Asian cup scoring record of 96 goals in 32 matches in the group stage.
Oher players who have scored wearing the number 19 shirt are: Vitalij Lux from Kyrgyzstan 3 goals, Saudi Arabia’s Fahad Al-Muwalled 2 goals and three players scored one goal; Nguyen Quang Hai of Vietnam, Anas Bani Yassin from Jordan and Ahmet Ataýew from Turkmenistan.
According to #mundial11, the traditional goal-scoring machine, number 9, has only ranked 7 in the list with four players wearing shirt number 9 scored just 4 goals.
