June 13 – The Gold Cup party is ready to start with Concacaf having announced the times and locations for its Futbol Fiesta events which will take place in the 15 US-based stadiums on match days.
Presented by Gold Cup sponsor Toyota, the Futbol Fiesta events are the official pre-game fan destination, and free for all fans going to the games.
Futbol Fiesta events will feature music, Gold Cup merchandise for purchase, soccer games and activities, food and beverage, and a variety of different sponsors activations. The equivalent of the fan parks that have profilerated across European events. Every Futbol Fiesta event will provide a space for fans to come together and celebrate before the big matches. The big difference to the fanzone concept is that the Futbol Fiesta events are focussed on match days and are right by the stadia – adding to the match experience and engaging with fans more interactively.
Fans who have already purchased tickets to any Gold Cup match can attend and participate in the Futbol Fiesta activities.
The 15th edition of the competition will be held in 15 venues across 13 US cities including Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and New York, among other major markets. The knockout rounds will be played in Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia and Phoenix, with the championship match set for Soldier Field in Chicago on July 7.
